Professor Lane A. Baker
Professor Bakerís areas of research are Analytical Chemistry and Bio/Nanotechnology, with an emphasis on electroanalytical techniques. Understanding and probing the chemistry and biochemistry of nanometer-scale processes with scanned probe microscopies are especially of interest. The overarching goal of our work is to develop new chemical and biochemical sensors, study transport through nanoporous materials, and develop new instrumentation for chemical and biochemical imaging.
